Patchouli

Patchouli is a tropical plant native to Southeast Asia, belonging to the Lamiaceae family, with the scientific name Pogostemon cablin . The plant is best known for its fragrant leaves, which are used to produce essential oil, a common ingredient in perfumes, cosmetics, and aromatherapy.

Patchouli oil is extracted by steam distillation of the dried leaves and is known for its earthy, woody and slightly sweet scent. This scent became particularly popular during the 60s and 70s in the hippie culture and has since been associated with a bohemian lifestyle.

New bottle and packaging

Starting in November, Les Ecuadors will start gradually introducing new packaging for its perfumes. As a small, independent perfume producer, the transition will be carried out step by step. During this period, both the old and new packaging will be sold interchangeably. However, the familiar scent will remain unchanged. As soon as the new photo material is available, the new bottles and packaging will be shown on the website.
